Pierce Brown is an American author born in 1988. Red Rising was his debut novel, published in 2014, and quickly became a bestseller, launching a series that now spans six volumes including Golden Son, Morning Star, Iron Gold, Dark Age, and Light Bringer. He studied political science and history at College of the Holy Cross. The Red Rising Saga is one of the most commercially successful science fiction series of the past decade and has a devoted fan community known as the Howlers.
