Taylor Larimore is a retired World War II veteran and long-time Vanguard investor who became the informal leader of the Bogleheads community, an online forum of investors following John Bogle's principles. He co-authored The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing with Mel Lindauer, a retired financial planner, and Michael LeBoeuf, a retired professor of management. Larimore, born in 1924, began investing in Vanguard index funds in 1986 and has been one of the most consistent public advocates for the Boglehead approach.
