He is the author of the Steal Like an Artist trilogy — Steal Like an Artist, Show Your Work, and Keep Going — all of which address the creative life for working artists and writers. He is also the author of Newspaper Blackout, poetry created by redacting newspaper columns with a marker. He publishes a weekly newsletter at austinkleon.com and is known for his visual approach to ideas, combining writing with drawing and collage.
