He is best known for his Robert Langdon thriller series, which includes Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol, Inferno, and Origin. The Da Vinci Code is among the best-selling novels of all time, with more than 80 million copies sold worldwide. Before his breakthrough Brown worked as a songwriter and English teacher. He lives in New England.
